"That at the name of Jesus every knee will bow, in heaven and on earth and under the earth, and every tongue confess that Jesus Christ is Lord,
to the glory of God the Father."-Philippians 2:10-11

God is good and prayer is powerful

Thank you again so much to those who have been praying for my mother during her recent surgery for cancer and her time of recovery.

God hears our prayers!

The Lord says “I also tell you this: If two of you agree here on earth concerning anything you ask, my Father in heaven will do it for you. For where two or three gather together as my followers, I am there among them.” -Matthew 18:19-20

Amen!

After being present for the miracle of how the Lord healed my mom's visible cancerous tumors, my faith has been renewed that our God cares about every detail of our lives, that He is very involved in every aspect of our lives and that He cares about us very much. It is so exciting that the Lord was pleased to answer our prayers heal my mom for His glory.

Just because the circumstances seem confusing or difficult does not change His love for us. I hope that we can "pray continually (and) give thanks in all circumstances; for this is God's will for you in Christ Jesus." -1 Thessalonians 5:17-18

Once I heard that God has three answers for prayers: "yes," "no" and "not yet." It can be difficult to wait for the Lord's perfect timing, but "... we know that God causes all things to work together for good to those who love God, to those who are called according to His purpose."
-Romans 8:28

Let's continue to come before the Lord in prayer knowing that He loves us, hears us and answers us!

  1. Kate - how amazing! What an opportunity. I visited Prague during my study abroad. It's absolutely gorgeous. But yes, the language difference is daunting. Good luck on learning Czech. I'll be following your blog.
